All editions of MMI have been rich, nourishing and inspiring encounters. The event encourages and contributes to the creation of new works and original forms in puppetry and object theater. It enables artists who present a work in progress to the public to enrich their creative process.

Artists are invited to Trois-Rivières for a week-long residency, culminating in two days of performances at the Maison de la Culture. Exhibitions and round-table discussions are also organized, rounding out the experience for artists and spectators alike. The Sages Fous workshop serves as a meeting place, a place for exchange, a creative space for guest companies and a curious public.
It becomes the beating heart of this unique event.
