PROJET BECKETT

The Beckett project for puppets and actors is an adaptation of Samuel Beckett’s play “Endgame.”

In an apocalyptic world, four physically disabled characters unravel and stretch out time, leading them toward an endless end.
The artists of Tenon Mortaise immerse themselves and their puppets in this tragicomic universe, highlighting all the richness of the famous Irish playwright’s Endgame. A closed-door parody of conventions, it draws on the theater of the absurd.

Tenon Mortaise came to our Micro-festival of unfinished puppets in 2016 with this work in progress. The audience was won over, and we are delighted to be able to present it in its final form!
