LA ROBE DE L’ÉPINETTE
Eugénie Capel (Saguenay)
La Robe de l’Épinette is a colorful tale that recounts the events of the town of Gagnon and its surrounding area. The play tells the true story of this mining town on the North Shore, which existed for some twenty years while the nearby iron ore deposit was being mined. When the deposit was exhausted, the decision was made to close the town. Today, nothing remains of this place except for a few traces of sidewalks lying in the middle of the taiga.
