\ud835\ude4b\ud835\ude4d\ud835\ude40\ud835\ude49\ud835\ude3f\ud835\ude4d\ud835\ude40 \ud835\ude4d\ud835\ude3c\ud835\ude3e\ud835\ude44\ud835\ude49\ud835\ude40 is a project we have been working on for three years in partnership with SANA Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (Service d’accueil des nouveaux arrivants, or Newcomer Welcome Service), and it’s simply thrilling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, we created small monster puppets from the participants’ countries. This year, we challenged ourselves to recreate them in large format!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During monthly meetings, participants were invited to enter the world of Les Sages Fous by creating their own puppets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE MONSTER BALL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day after Halloween, organized in collaboration with SANA Trois-Rivi\u00e8res and the Conservatoire de musique de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The language of music and the language of silent puppet theater have in common, beyond our words and regardless of our origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the direction of the talented Philippe Bournival and accompanied by the excellent Kurdish musician Alan Othman, the students of the Trois-Rivi\u00e8res Conservatory of Music brought the puppets to life by exploring new, strange, and captivating sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The puppets were created by newcomers, first in miniature format, then in grand format!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest edition honored the end of this three-year project between Les Sages Fous and SANA and took place as part of the Conservatory’s 60th anniversary celebrations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
